Christine Etta Provost was born on September 12, 1938 in Pine Ridge, SD to Samuel Belt and Elizabeth (Flood) Belt. Christine made her journey to the Spirit World on September 10, 2023 at her home near Oglala, SD.

Kay is survived by her beloved children Orrie (Serena) Morrison, Orin (Elizabeth) Morrison, Darlis (Rex) Crow, Curt Morrison, Lynette Morrison, and Robert Morrison; stepdaughter Martina Morrison; siblings Orville (Bonnie) Belt, Virginia Yankton, and Marjorie Spider; her beloved grandchildren Dietrich Morrison, Cornell Belt, Latana Morrison, Robbie (Lloyd) Two Bulls, Richard White Eyes, Blaine (Sidney) White Eyes, Brittany White Eyes, Mitchell Crow, Krista (Kenny) Blacksmith, CeNedra (Jesse) Morrison, Orin J (Gail) Morrison, Wyatt Blacksmith, Melanie Kills Small, Echo Clarke, Jim Clarke, Wambli Clarke, Jeremy Clarke, Morgan Clarke, Wendy Abold, Nickolas Morrison, Alicia Little Bear, Jerrid (Jenis) Morrison, Jewel Morrison, Orrie Morrison Jr, Sylvia Red Robe, Rigo Ortiz, Amos Two Bulls, Berlyn Ghost, Tanner Ghost, Amanda (Blake) Simmons, Joseph Morrison, Jonathan (Gina) Morrison, Randi Morrison, Bodie Morrison, and Oris (Candace) Morrison; her beloved great-grandchildren Evianna Jumping Eagle, Abel Gamer, Turok Clarke, Oneisys Star Comes Out, Cody Pipe On Head, Kaitlyn Pipe On Head, Raiden and Kitana Two Bulls, Analise, Jordy, Tommy and Vivian White Eyes, Laressa White Eyes, Robert Two Two III, Vincent and Furi White Eyes, Bryson and Tobias Morrison, Avery and Wren Stover, Rukkus and Benedict Black Elk, and Iwoblu Crow; adopted sisters Yvonne “Sissy” Crow, Janet Tobacco, Brenda Youngman and Hilda Kills Small; nieces Pamela, Lena Kay, Michelle and Amy Belt, Serena Belt, Candace Spider, Lakota, Latisha and LaVonne Belt, Delpha and Leslie Two Bulls; and nephews Alton, Alphonzo and Henry Belt, Calvin Spider, Palauni Long Soldier, Casey and Clayton Merrill.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Elizabeth Belt; sisters Leona and Thomasina Belt; brothers Alphonzo and Calvin Belt; aunts/uncles Etta & Pugh Youngman-Afraid of His Horse, Richard & Florence Ten Fingers, Phyllis & Victor Dreaming Bear, Delores & Robert Two Bulls, Ambrose & Elizabeth Belt, Roland Belt, Jonas Belt, and Sara Brave; and her beloved great-grandchildren Cato Lukea Clarke, Wocekiye Olowan Two Bulls, Baby Girl White Eyes, and Breslin Rehel Black Elk.

Pallbearers will be Richard White Eyes, Blaine White Eyes, Mitchell Crow, Orin J Morrison, Jerrid Morrison, Oris Morrison Jr, Jonathan Morrison, Bodie Morrison, Joseph Morrison, Jeremy Clarke, Jim Clarke, Wambli Clarke, Morgan Clarke, Lloyd Two Bulls, and Amos Two Bulls.
