Burial is at Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD
Visitation precedes the funeral from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Two Dogs Ceremony House in Porcupine
Christine Helen Two Dogs was born on July 13, 1945 in Pine Ridge, SD to Joseph Two Dogs and Lucinda (Fast Horse) Two Dogs. Christine made her journey to the Spirit World on June 15, 2022 at the Parkview Healthcare Center in Hayward, CA.
Christine was a very caring and loving person. She was a Nurses’ Aid in California for many years. Her favorite color is turquoise. She loved kittens, horses, and the Las Vegas Raiders.
Christine had been married to Joel Rodriguez for 35 wonderful years and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Christine is survived by her spouse, Joel Rodriguez; daughter, Marilee Meisner; sister, Judy Allsup; niece, Jolee Two Dogs-Clark; and cousins, Alice Two Dogs, Wilbur Two Dogs, Eddie Two Dogs and Rick Two Dogs.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lucinda Two Dogs; sister, Janie Two Dogs; and brothers, Burgess Two Dogs, Joseph Two Dogs, Jr., and Roger Martin-Two Dogs.
Pallbearers will be Gene Tyon, Jake Sounding Side, Richard Long Wolf, Tony Long Soldier, Frank Murdock, Jeff Iron Cloud, Ed Iron Cloud and Phillip Good Crow.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Waceonpa Tasunke Wakan Sundancers, and All Friends & Relatives.
