Graveside services for 51-year old Cindra Scherer are Friday, Dec 1, 2023 at 10:30 at the Martin Community Cemetery in Martin, SD, with Mother Michelle Dayton officiating.

Cindra Kaye Scherer was born May 19, 1972 in Gordon, NE to Dorothy Scherer and William Scherer. Cindra made her journey to the Spirit World on November 21, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD surrounded by her loved ones.
Cindra dearly loved everyone in her family and was always showing them how much she loved them by giving them the biggest bear hugs and the sloppiest kisses. Cindra’s smile could light up any room and brighten anyone’s day.
One of Cindra’s many accomplishments was when she graduated from Sturgis Brown High School. After high school, Cindra enjoyed spending her days with her mom and attending all family functions.
Cindra loved her word-find puzzles, country music, coloring/drawing, competing in Special Olympics, working at various jobs, and spoiling her nieces and nephews, who she absolutely adored and who adored her just as much.
Cindra was a sweet and gentle soul that touched the lives of everyone she met. Cindra was a very special person to her family and she will be greatly missed by many.
Cindra is survived by her mother Dorothy Scherer of Martin; father William Scherer of Martin; sisters Tammie (Cody) Stadler of Sturgis, SD Diana Hayford of St Onge, SD, and Chelsi Brown and (Lang Brown Eyes) of Martin; uncle Leroy Hicks; aunt Karen (David) Bakley; 3 nieces; 4 nephews; 3 great-nieces; 2 great-nephews; and numerous extended nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cindra is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Neil and Doris Hicks; paternal grandparents Robert and Juanita Scherer; and uncle Jackie Hicks.
Pallbearers will be Seth Hayford, Keelan Hayford, Cody Stalder Jr, Richard Kamerzell, Lang Brown Eyes, Neil Hicks Jr, and Trae Bakley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Uncle Leroy Hicks Sr, Auntie Karen Bakley, Uncle David Bakley, Cody Stalder Sr, Richard Ray Kamerzell, and All Friends & Relatives.
