The City of Chadron has declared a snow emergency from 4:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, and will remain in effect until all the snow in the streets has been removed.
When a snow emergency has been declared all vehicles, trailers, and obstructions must be removed from the designated snow emergency routes. Vehicles, trailers, or obstructions remaining on the routes may be ticketed or towed at the owners’ expense.
Routes that must be cleared and remain clear until the snow is moved (as detailed in the graphic above) include Main St. from 1st-5th, Chadron Ave. from 1st to 3rd, Morehead between 2nd and 3rd, 2nd Street from Bordeaux to Morehead, and 3rd St./Hwy 20 from King to Mears Streets.
