The Nebraska State Patrol says a Sidney man was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Hwy 26 near Bridgeport.
.State Patrol spokesman Cody Thomas says 65-year old Dusty Trembly was pronounced dead at the scene about 4:20 PM.
Thomas says Trembly was trying to turn east onto Highway 26 from a historical marker pull-off when his van he was driving collided with a westbound pickup.
The driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while a passenger in Trembly’s van went to the hospital with minor injuries. Thomas says the investigation of the crash by the State Patrol is on-going.
