The Crawford girls basketball team plays Wynot tonight in the D2-3 district finals for a berth at next week’s state tournament in Lincoln.
The game is at Ainsworth and will be broadcast on FM 107.7 KBPY with tipoff set for 5:00 MT. It will also be streamed at Chadrad.com
The Lady Rams are the 14th seed at 16-8 with 8 wins in their last 9 games. Wynot, the #3 seed, is 19-2 with 13 straight victories and 17 in their last 18 games.
Gordon-Rushville made the C-1 district finals as a wild card with a 14-7 record. They’re the 13th seed and play 24-0 Bridgeport at 6:00 at Bridgeport in C1-4.
The Mustangs’ last 2 games have been against Bridgeport – the regular season finale and the subdistrict semifinals – and they lost both by a combined 69 points.
Sidney is the #2 seed in C1 and travels to Kearney Catholic to take on Platteview with a 5:30 MT tipoff in C1-2.
Leyton also made the D2 district finals and the 6th seed. They host Paxton tonight at 6:00 in D2-6.
Bayard is in the C2-4 district final as the 4th seed and plays Niobrara/Verdigre tonight at 5:00 MT in Lexington.
    The Class B girls district finals are Saturday. Scottsbluff is the 7th seed and hosts Elkhorn at 1:00 in B-7.
