The Crawford Lady Rams improved to 11-7 with back-to-back wins over the weekend against Hyannis and Potter-Dix.
The Rams held the two teams to single digits for seven of the eight quarters, allowing Potter-Dix to cross into double digits once.
Crawford defeated the 3-11 Hyannis Longhorns Friday 42-30, jumping out to a 15-7 lead in the first quarter and maintaining a 21-16 advantage at half-time. The Rams added another 21 to the board in the second half and held Hyannis to five and nine points in the last two quarters.
Against Potter-Dix Saturday, the Rams went up 11-4 early before taking a 24-10 lead into the break. Potter-Dix outscored Crawford 13-7 in the third quarter, but the Rams responded with a 10-5 run to get the 41-28 win over the 4-12 Coyotes.
