Funeral services for 49-year old Crystal Waters are Sat, July 1, 2023 at 2:00 at Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge, SD, with Wanda Waters officiating.
Graveside services are at the Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge.
A two-night wake service starts Thurs, June 29, at 4:00 at Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge with evening services at 7:00 each night

Crystal Eileen Waters was born on April 8, 1974 in Rapid City, SD to Ernie Eli Waters Sr and Sophia Gloria Yellow Boy. Crystal made her journey to the Spirit World on June 18, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD
Crystal lived in Rapid City most of her life; she went to Horace Mann North Middle School and graduated from Rapid City Central on June 6, 1993. She always lived by “Once a Cobbler, always a Cobbler.”
Crystal’s first job was at Wendy’s and she also worked at YFS and Red Cloud School. Crystal loved to cruise and listen to music.
Along her way in life, she made a lot of friends. She had a crazy and great personality and loved to laugh, make jokes, and play volleyball when she could.
Crystal is survived by her mother Gloria Yellow Boy; daughters Kyleen Waters and Allison (Cruz) Bagola; siblings Fred “Harlen” Yellow Boy, Janell (Frank) Raney, Ernie Waters Jr, and Daryl Waters; adopted brother Tobias Good Iron; aunts & uncles Bunny (John) O’Mara, Fred (Sandy) Yellow Boy, Albert (Francine) Waters, and Herman (Sally) White Whirlwind; and grandchildren Sharon Waters, Kaliyah Waters, Dominic Brave Heart, and Sophia Raney.
Crystal was preceded in death by her father Ernie Eli Waters Sr; paternal grandparents Paul Water and Rose (Red Feather) Water; maternal grandparents Athelia White Whirlwind and Levi Yellow Boy; aunts Carol “Barb” Yellow Boy, Leona Waters, Victoria White Magpie, Maxine Lakota, and Jeanette Bissonette; uncles Stanley Yellow Boy, Thomas “Tomahawk” Yellow Boy, Cleveland “Billy” Waters, Bob Lakota, Zack Lakota, and Leon Lakota; cousins Fredlyn “Donuts” Yellow Boy, Charmaine O’Mara, Greg Fayson, Matilda Waters, Veda Waters, and Jenny Waters; niece Athelia Whalen; nephew Dontae Broken Rope; and grandbaby Presley Lopez.
