A Winter Storm Warning from the National Weather Service and the possibility of a foot or more of snow has led Chadron State College to close its campus on Tuesday and call off classes.
A decision on whether to reopen on Wednesday will be made later.
Because of the weather and, the special two-day meeting of the State College Trustees to interview the finalists to be the next president of Chadron State College has been pushed back from tomorrow and Wednesday to Wednesday and Thursday.
Plans are still in place for each of the 4 finalists to have an open forum with alumni, Chadron State Foundation staff, and community in the new Math and Science Center Of Innovative Learning Center that will also be available Zoom.
