The Chadron State College Community Chorus is open to the greater Chadron community and CSC students. Community members may join the chorus by emailing Dr. Joel Schreuder about their interest in singing and then coming to the first weekly rehearsal on Thursday, Aug. 22, at CSC’s Memorial Hall, Room 126, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The chorus will perform a concert on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m. at the Chadron Arts Center. Chadron community residents and CSC staff and faculty interested in performing with the Chadron State College Community Symphonic Band are welcome to the first rehearsal of the Fall semester Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Memorial Hall, Room 125. The Wind Symphony and Community Band will perform in concert on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Hall Auditorium and in the Holiday Concert on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. All instrumentalists and levels of talent are welcome.
