Loading

The Chadron State College volleyball team is hosting spring scrimmages to conclude their spring practices this Saturday, in the Chicoine Center.

Other schools attending will include Casper College, Laramie County Community College (LCCC), Northeastern Junior College (NJC), and South Dakota Mines.

With volleyball happening on two different courts, the Eagles will play on court one for all four of their matches.

At noon, CSC will first play Casper College. LCCC AND NJC are next on the schedule for the Eagles with matches scheduled for 1:30 and 4:30 p.m., respectively.

At 6:00 pm, S.D. Mines will play Chadron State as their last match of the day.

The matches will be played with no officials and no line judges. A flip score chart will be used for each court.

Each team will play a total of four matches that are best two out of three sets.

CSC graduated five players from the 2022 team that finished 7-20 overall and 5-13 in the RMAC.

This spring, the Eagles return their top six in kills and blocks from last season. Last season’s leader in assists has graduated but Kiley West, a freshman, is on the spring roster and had 268 assists last season.
