The Chadron State women’s golf team sits in the middle of the pack after the first 2 rounds of the Swan Memorial in Thornton, Colo. The 3rd round is today.
The Eagles were part of a 3-way tie for 8th in the 16-team field after a 318-315-633 that left them 35 strokes behind host Colorado Christian.
Junior Jordan Grasis leads the Eagles tied for 20th after identical 78s for a 156. Kinzey Smith is tied for 37th at 159 with Alpine Hickstein’s 161 has her tied for 45th.
Kenzey Kanno struggled to 90 in the opening round, then recovered for a 78 to sit at 168. Rounding out the list are Allison Acosta at 171 and Aubree Heinsma at 188. Brooke Kramer was in the top 25 after a 1st round 79, but then withdrew.
