Chadrad Communications News has learned through the Murray State University website that current Chadron State College president Dr. Ron K. Patterson is one of four finalists for the same position at the NCAA division one institution based in Murray, Kentucky.
Patterson was named Chadron State’s president in early April of 2023, succeeding Dr. Randy Rhine.
Murray State is in the process of replacing Dr. Bob Jackson who will be retiring this upcoming June.
Prior to taking over at CSC, Patterson spent time at North Alabama and Marietta College in Ohio.
A timeline for the completion of the hiring is still to be determined according to the university website.
