Daniel Tyrell Lakota “Ske Gli” ~Comes Back~ was born on July 26, 1998 in Pine Ridge, SD to Erik Lakota and Fawn White Face. Daniel made his journey to the Spirit World on September 10, 2023 at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO.
Daniel is survived by his father Erik Lakota; sisters Fancy Lakota, Cherish Lakota, and Loveletta Bissonette; brothers Isaiah Lakota, Vernon Bissonette, and Kyle Cortier; grandparents Harriet & Chauncey White Face; aunts Marjorie Black Elk, Leslie Cortier, AJ Lakota, Krystal Lakota, Denise Fast Wolf, and Nellie Lakota; uncles Dennis White Face, Ole Two Bulls, Willis Lakota, and Harry Lakota; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother Fawn White Face; sister Ashley Spotted Elk; brother Jeremiah Lakota; grandparents Willard Eagle Bear, Buzzy Cortier, Maynard & Lila Cortier, and Gladys Two Bulls; aunts Audrey Lakota, Samantha White and June Two Bulls; uncles Kevin Two Bulls and Donovan White Face; and niece Journey White Pipe.
Pallbearers will be Dalton White Pipe, Jimmy Bravo, Angelo White Calf, Willis Lakota, JoJo Dixon, Elijah Hawk Wing, Benji Clown Horse, Jake Two Bulls, Shawn Cortier, Peza Cortier, DJ Shangreaux Sr, and Cid Long Sr.
