Dawes County Commissioners Thank Residents For Storm Response

Loading

The Dawes County Commissioners have issued a statement thanking all residents of the county for their patience and response to the storms of the last week.

Commissioners Jake Stewart, Vic Rivera, and Webb Johnson say they want to express gratitude for all the efforts put forth by county residents as a whole because “it really takes a community to get through a disaster of this magnitude.”

The commissioners say a key part of that was neighbors helping neighbors, something they’re urging Dawes County residents to continue doing.

They encourage everyone to reach out to their neighbors, check in on them, and make sure everything is okay, adding that “by checking in with each other, we can all assure the safety and wellbeing of each and every resident of Dawes County.”
