According to the office of Dawes County Attorney/Coroner Vance Haug, on Friday, August 30th at approximately 7:15 p.m., Chadron Police Department and the Dawes County Attorney/Coroner were contacted to investigate the unattended death of 60 year old Chadron resident, John Kubo.
After an investigation of the scene, witness interviews, a review of medical reports and consultation with medical personnel, the preliminary findings are that Mr. Kubo died of natural causes, though an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the specific cause of death.
