Dawes County Officials Asking Residents For Patience During Yet Another Winter Storm

Loading

The Dawes County Commissioners and County Highway Superintendent Wade Yada are warning people, especially those in rural areas, that the current storm is expected to be serious enough that travel may be difficult or impossible for the rest of the week.

Yada says the volume of snow, drifting caused by the high winds, and the frigid temperatures could make it very difficult for county crews to get some roads reopened.

He and the commissioners say crews will be getting roads open as soon as safely possible – adding that they want to thank residents for their patience and their understanding of the challenges posed by the weather.
