Deadhorse Road Reopen, Work Went Faster Than Expected

Deadhorse Road southwest of Chadron was closed for about 3 hours this morning to replace the deck of a bridge.

Dawes County Highway Superintendent Wade Yada says he’d been told by the work crew in advance that the road would likely be closed until early or mid-afternoon, so he was pleasantly surprised when the project took less than half the expected time.
