Funeral services for 62-year old Debbie Trejo are Sat, July 15, 2023 at 1:00 at the Allen CAP Office in Allen, SD, with Pastor Tim Wardell officiating and traditional Lakota services by Albert Red Bear

Burial is at the Native American Church Cemetery in Allen

A two-night wake service starts Thursday, July 13, at 3:00 the Allen CAP Office in Allen with evening services at 7:00 each night.

Debbie Ann Trejo “Wicahpi Eiotaka” was born on November 20, 1960 in Shamrock, TX to Guadalupe Trejo and Melda Red Bear. Debbie made her journey to the Spirit World on July 5, 2023 in Colorado Springs, CO.

Debbie is survived by her daughters Soledad Rivera, Felicia Trejo, and Lydia Trejo; siblings Robert Trejo, Lucille Barrientos, Ruben Trejo, Jimmy Trejo, Barbra Trejo, and Raenn Trejo; and grandchildren Casmiro Rivera, DeAnn Trejo, Marie Rivera, Heizkia Trejo, Mokpeaa Little Wolf, David Daniel, Dylan Daniel, and Steven Daniel.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Melda Red Bear-Trejo and Guadalupe Trejo Sr; grandparents Solomon Red Bear and Jessie Slow Dog; nephew Santana Trejo; siblings Manuel Trejo, Raymond Trejo Sr, Marcus Red Bear, Lupe Trejo Jr, and Richard Trejo; and grandson Elijah Trejo.

Pallbearers will be Robert Trejo, Ruben Trejo, Heizkia Trejo, Marcus Red Bear, Mokpeaa Little Wolf, David Daniel, Dylan Daniel, Austin DeSersa, Steven Daniel, Cleofas Red Bear, Mario Dominguez, Steve Trejo Jr, and Phillip Red Bear Sr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bush Family, Red Bear Family, Trejo Family, Montavol Family, Poor Bear Family, Apple Family, Waters Family, Plenty Arrows Family, Janis Family, Slow Dog Family, Fool Bull Family, Rivera Family, Cottier Family, Black Bear Family, and all friends & relatives.
