Since she was born premature, DelRita overcame many obstacles to survive in this world.

DelRita lived her younger years in Okreek, moving to Fort Thompson, Arizona, Box Elder, Wyoming, and finishing out her years in Rapid City, SD. She traveled around the country with her 4 girls hoop dancing.

DelRita worked at Assurant for 17 years, then spent the last 10 years with Black Hills Works where she enjoyed working with each of her ladies.

Away from work, DelRita was an amazing softball player, positioned as a shortstop, winning many MVP awards.

She was also a hoop dancer, seamstress, motorcycle enthusiast, and a fancy dancer. Through her accomplishments as a dancer and speaker she attained the title of Miss Crow Creek.

DelRita was a very outgoing, kind-hearted, and humorous person who could get along with anyone and never judged a single person she came across.

DelRita made friends everywhere she went, always bringing a smile to people’s faces. She enjoyed spending time on the boat and riding her motorcycle with her significant other, kids, grandbabies, her cats and close relatives. Always taking in people and giving away to others.
