Funeral services for 71-year old Dennis Goings are Monday, Oct 2, 2023 at 10:00 at the Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge, SD, with all prayer leaders welcome to join.
Burial follows at 1:30 at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD
Visitation precedes the funeral Monday morning from 8-10:00 at Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge.

Dennis Leon Goings was born on Jan 25, 1952 in Pine Ridge, SD to Lloyd Goings and Ruth Janis. Dennis made his journey to the Spirit World on Sept 26, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Dennis is survived by his daughters Jennifer Goings-Batrez, Raeanne Goings, and Cassandra Goings; sons Mac Goings and Morgan Goings; siblings Gaylene Long, John Long, Nellie Long, and Jack Long; 15 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren Zander and Stormi Goings.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Goings; mother Ruth “Tootsie” Long; sister Imogene “Ima” Goings; brothers Hobart Goings, Lloyd “Luff” Goings, and Albert Long; nephew Dallas E. Howard III; and stepfather Junior Albert Long Pumpkin.
Pallbearers will be Abel Batrez, Tristan Long, Kenneth Walking Eagle, Hunter Long, Eric Long, and Chase Shot With Arrow.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
