The Denver Broncos have announced that Bo Nix will be the starting quarterback when the regular season begins on September 8 in Seattle.
Nix was the first round selection for the Broncos as the 12th overall pick out of Oregon. He has been in a battle for the starting job with Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson. Nix and Stidham shared first team reps as training camp progressed before Nix earned the starting job.
The Broncos wrap up the preseason Sunday when they take on the Arizona Cardinals, they begin the regular season on September 8 when they go to Seattle.
