Burial is at St Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Rockyford, SD
A one-night wake starts Thurs, Dec 9, at noon, also at Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge.
Devon Caine Elk Boy was born on March 26, 2001 in Pine Ridge, SD to Jeanine Cottier and Travis John Elk Boy. Devon made his journey to the Spirit World on November 29, 2021 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Devon is survived by his mother Jeanine Cottier; father Travis John Elk Boy; sister Jaelynn Elk Boy; grandmother Rose Cottier; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and all his Lil’ Bro’s.
Devon was preceded in death by his grandparents Sandra Flying Hawk, Clifford Grass, Phillip Elk Boy, Bernice Spotted Elk, and Donald Grass; aunt Lori Cottier; and niece Kierra Leeds.
Pallbearers will be Shelby Wilson, Tyler Cottier, River Youngman, Sinte White Butterfly, JD Spotted Elk, Lyle Blue Legs, Jr., Antonio Blue Bird, and Samuel Bear Robe, Jr.
