Burial is at St Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Hisle, SD.
A one-night wake service starts Friday, October 22, at 4:00, also at the Martin CAP Office in Martin, SD.
Donald Earl Poor Thunder was born October 9, 1982 in Pine Ridge, SD to Joseph Poor Thunder and Sharyn (Richards) Young. Donald made his journey to the Spirit World on October 16, 2021 in Rapid City, SD.
Donald is survived by his mother, Sharyn Young; and siblings, Cody Poor Thunder, Anthony Richards, Jr., Mario Standing Bear and Spencer Standing Bear.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Poor Thunder; grandmother, Clementine Salway; and uncle, Isadore Poor Thunder.
Pallbearers will be Cody Poor Thunder, Anthony Richards, Sr., Anthony Richards, Jr., Ronald DuBray, Phoenix Campbell, Allen Libby, Joseph Fish, Spencer Standing Bear, Mario Standing Bear, Elliot DuBray and Alex Salway.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Tilly DuBray & Family, Mary Poor Thunder & Family, Hermus Poor Thunder & Family, Hillary DuBray, Woody & Pam Richards, Joel & LeAnne Ulmer and All Friends & Relatives.
