Donovan Charles New was born on August 20, 1969 in Pine Ridge, SD to Charles T New Sr and Sylvia Warrior. Donovan made his journey to the Spirit World on September 11, 2022 in Rapid City, SD.
Donovan is survived by his mother Sylvia Warrior of Oglala, SD; sisters Charlene New of Minneapolis, MN; Hannah New of Sioux Falls, SD; and Natalie New of Rapid City, SD; brothers Theodore New of Sioux Falls, SD, and Charles New Jr of Oglala, SD; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donovan was preceded in death by his father Charles New Sr; paternal grandparents Thomas New Jr and Hannah Red Fish; and maternal grandparents Harvey Warrior and Mary Ground Spider.
Pallbearers will be Tim Bores A Hole, Monty Eagle Louse, Chad Ten Fingers, Robert Young Dog Sr, Brandon Pipe On Head, Mike Warrior, Charles New Jr and William Warrior.
