Funeral services for 17-year old  Donroy Little Spotted Horse are Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1:00 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD, with traditional Lakota services by Waylon Gaddie

Cremation to follow services

A one-night wake service starts Friday, Oct 22, at 3:00, also at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, then moves at 9:00 to 603 Seahawk Drive in Rapid City for overnight services. 

Donroy Duane Little Spotted Horse was born on July 7, 2004 in Pine Ridge, SD to Charles Little Spotted Horse and Wakinyan Bear Runner. Donroy made his journey to the Spirit World on October 11, 2021 at the Swedish Medical Center in Denver, CO.

Donroy is survived by his parents, Wakinyan Bear Runner and Charles Little Spotted Horse; and siblings, Trinity White Butterfly, Charles Little Spotted Horse, Jr., Oscar Mendoza, Trisha Little Spotted Horse, Wiyaka Little Spotted Horse, Esperanza Little Spotted Horse, Velma Little Spotted Horse, Briana Little Spotted Horse, and Sariya Bear Runner.

Donroy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edgar Donroy Bear Runner, Steven Yellow Cloud, and Leola Bear Runner; and paternal grandparents, Floyd White Eyes, Stella White Eyes, Anthony (Tuffy) White Eyes, and Jackie Yellow Horse. 

Pallbearers will be Oscar Mendoza, Emanuel Bear Runner, Gerald Baker, Maka Yellow Cloud, Rain Bear Runner, Sterlin Arcoren, Jameison St. John, Shaiden Shangreaux, Rodney Janis, and Timothy Janis.
