Funeral services for 61-year old Douglas Justus are Friday, Dec 16, 2022 at 10:00 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD, with Deacon Bill White officiating.
Cremation will follow the services with burial at a later date.
A one-night wake service starts Thurs, Dec 15 at 2:00 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle.
Douglas Howard Justus was born on May 19, 1961 in Springfield, MO to Harley Justus and Carol (Phol) Justus. Douglas made his journey to the Spirit World on December 10, 2022 at the Bennett County Hospital in Martin, SD.
Douglas is survived by his wife Violet (Clifford) Justus; children Adam Clifford, Aaron Calhoun, Emma J Twiss, and Darrell Jude Justus; siblings Vivian (Justus), JoAnn White Thunder, Sybil Hernandez, Willard V Clifford, Ralph A Clifford, Carl R Clifford, Charlotte L Young, Anna Marie Polkrabet, Francis Clifford, and Herbert Clifford Jr; nephews Jesse Clifford, Will V Clifford Jr, Kirk Stephen, and Christopher White Thunder; nieces Corina Bulthuis and Ellen White Thunder; grandchildren Forrest R Calhoun, Alaina M Clifford, and Eric Rojas; great-grandchildren Dakota, Keya, Lyman, Desmond, and James; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Douglas was preceded in death by his parents Harley Justus and Carol (Phol) Justus; son Nerio J Rojas; siblings, James Clifford, Anita Claire “Sister Bernadette” Clifford, and Ellen W Stephen; and mother and father-in-law Herbert H Clifford Sr and Jessie M Clifford.
Pallbearers will be Virgil Claussen, Carlin Red Blanket, Walter Martinez, Steve Claussen, Perry Zephier, Austin Watkins, Larry O’Bryan, and Vernell White Thunder.
Honorary pallbearers will be Willard Clifford, Carl Clifford, Herbert H Clifford, Belva Montileaux, Deacon Cal Clifford, James, and All Friends & Relatives.
