The Eagle Exchange, a free clothing closet organized and led by students from Every Eagle Succeeds, is proud to continue providing support for Chadron State College students.
Located on the second floor of Kent Hall, the Eagle Exchange is open all hours of the day, allowing students to access clothing and hygiene products at no cost.
To enhance its offerings, Every Eagle Succeeds will host a donation event Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Hub, inviting the campus community to contribute professional and winter clothing.
โWe have a lot of students who have never experienced a Nebraska winter. We would rather them have the option to grab a coat if they donโt have one, instead of having to go buy one,โ said Alexis McGowan, Vice President of Every Eagle Succeeds.
The club encourages the donation of clean clothing with no holes or stains. Unique contributions, such as hangers and computer bags, have also been beneficial.
The Eagle Exchange offers a wide range of clothing and items, including professional clothing suitable for job interviews, and hygiene products. Nail kits, first aid kits, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets are also available.
โThe Eagle Exchange provides resources for everybody in need and being part of the group that maintains it is a great opportunity for community service,โ said Every Eagle Succeeds President Mallorie Scott.
