Looking Back
The Eagles played some competitive sets against some of the top teams in the RMAC, even winning a set against the No. 2 team in the nation, but ultimately went 0-2 in their conference season-opening weekend at home.
The Eagles fell in straight sets to Colorado School of Mines, with a pair of nail biters sandwiched around a more comfortable Oredigger second set win in a 26-24, 25-16, 25-22 Eagles loss.
Against MSU Denver, who have won the past three RMAC regular season titles, Chadron State won the first set 25-23, marking just the second time in the last nine meetings between the schools that the Eagles have won a set against the Roadrunners. MSU Denver won the next three sets, creating a final score of 23-25, 25-21, 25-11, 25-14 in favor of the Roadrunners.
