The Chadron State College golf team added one stroke to its Sunday total on Monday, at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships, to drop one place to eighth, out of 12 teams in the field.

For the second consecutive day, junior Jordan Grasis led the CSC team individually, tied with sophomore Brooke Kramer for a second round score of 79.

The biggest improvement from Sunday was made by sophomore Kinsey Smith, who shot 80 on Monday, down from 83 in the first round.

Grasis remained the frontrunner on the CSC team in the tournament, at a tie for 17th of 59, while Smith was 26th.

Colorado Christian University, which was the only team to record a score under 300 in the first round, was still in control of the team score after two rounds.

Julia Baroth, of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, carried the individual lead into Tuesday.
