Ethan Daniel Pacer was born on August 27, 2002, in Rapid City, SD to Charles Pacer and Melanie Quick Bear. Ethan made his journey to the Spirit World on October 18, 2020, in Rapid City, SD.
Ethan is survived by his mother, Melanie Quick Bear of Rapid City, SD; father, Charles Pacer of Pine Ridge, SD; siblings, Julia Pacer, Charles Pacer, Jr., Gabriel Quick Bear, and Ryan Quick Bear all of Rapid City, SD; grandparents, Donna Cardoza of Rapid City, SD, Charlene and Jim Pacer of Pine Ridge, SD, Scott Jones of Rapid City, SD, and Tara Hatzenbuhler of Mandan, ND; aunts, Emily Quick Bear of Pine Ridge, SD, Jessica Steele, Lyndsay Quick Bear, Stephanie McCloskey, and Gina Quinonez all of Rapid City, SD, Samantha Cardoza of Lapaz, Mexico, and Jamie Pacer of Pine Ridge, SD; and uncles, Christopher Newman of Rapid City, SD, Luis Medina of Florence, CO, Robert Medina of Eugene, OR, and Stephen McCloskey of Rapid City, SD.
Ethan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Karmen Quick Bear; and step-father, Denny Steele.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Quick Bear, Charles Pacer, Jr., Gabe Quick Bear, Damien Janis, Ian Janis, Zane Quick Bear, Rey Hernandez, and Louis Janis III.
