Everard Wayne Lone Hill was born on April 4, 1964 in Chamberlain, SD to Everard Dave Jumping Elk and Harriet (Iron Elk) Lone Hill and was raised by Edgar Lone Hill, who adopted him when he was a baby. Everard made his journey to the Spirit World on June 23, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Wayne was born in Chamberlain, SD, but raised in Rapid City. He attended school in Rapid City, then attended the Clearfield Job Corps Center, where he became a certified auto mechanic.

He later attended Haskell Jr College for a year in Computer Science before enlisting in the Navy to become a Navy Seal, but he had to be discharged from the military after his younger brother passed away.

Wayne loved working outdoors and worked primarily in construction until he became disabled.

He married Lorna Jenkins from Utah and had 3 children: Arielll, Shayne, and Ozland. He later had 3 children with Kim Chiu – daughters Karli and Elissya Chiu and son Kelly Lone Hill.

Wayne finally met his mahasani, Stacey Low Dog, and spent his last 21 years with her. She took care of him as his health deteriorated in the last few years of his life until he began his journey to the spirit world.

Everard was preceded in death by his parents Edgar and Harriet Lone Hill and Everard Dave Jumping Elk; siblings Sean, Baby sister Kelly, Gordon and Ben; his maternal grandparents Harry Iron Elk and Elizabeth Denoyer; and paternal grandparents Hobart Lone Hill Sr and Mary Eagle Bull.

Everard is survived by his 6 children; 11 grandchildren; sister Joanne Steele from WV; niece Carmen; and aunt Marilyn Gayton.
