Did you know that western Nebraska is a fantastic place to go birding? Our unique and diverse habitats allow numerous bird species to thrive here throughout the year. Whether you are new to birds & birding or an avid birder, we invite you to join talented birder Noelle Grunwald from Bird Conservancy of the Rockies at 7 pm on Tuesday, August 6th for an enjoyable evening to connect, not only to birds, but also to nature and other outdoor enthusiasts. Everyone is welcome. Binoculars and field guides will be available to borrow. Participants will meet in the amphitheater behind the Scotts Bluff National Monument Visitor Center at 7 pm. From there we will head out to look for birds in areas near the visitor center. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
