The Chadron High softball team pounded 12 hits, 8 of them for extra bases, in an 11-1 4-inning win over Bayard on Thursday night.
Maci Rutledge went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and a triple with three runs scored. Her performance earned her the Service Barber Shop player of the game honors. Aubrey Milburn earned the Dunbar U-Design play of the game with her 3rd inning 3-run homer.
Kenli Richardson also went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and a single with an RBI and two runs scored.
It’s Chadron 2nd win over Bayard this season by a combined score of 26-5.
The Cards play a double header at Chase County on Friday and then head to North Platte on Saturday for a tournament.
