The spring 2024 Graves Lecture Series at Chadron State College wraps up tonight at 7:00 in the Sandoz Center with what may be the first talk by a current CSC student.
Ella Tchona of the West African nation of Benin, who will graduate with a degree in chemistry next month, has titled her program A Path to Graduate School: Research Opportunities at CSC.
Tchona, president of the CSC International Club for 3 years, has already been accepted into a doctoral program at the Medical College of Wisconsin – which she credits at least partly to a special program her CSC professors helped her find.
INBRE, the Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence – part of the Nebraska Institutional Development Award Program has given her field research opportunities ranging from medicinal and organic chemistry to biochemistry and cancer biology.
Her Graves Lecture program is free and open to the public and starts at 7:00 in the Sandoz Center.
