Chadron’s finest made a rapid response to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 385 and Highway 20. At 2:50 Wednesday afternoon, Chadron PD and CVFD were dispatched for an accident with a possible neck injury.
According to Chadron Police Lieutenant Gabe Walz, the driver of one of the vehicles was issued a citation for failing to yield at the crossing. Chadron Volunteer Fire Department was also dispatched to the scene for emergency medical assistance, but made no transports.
Shortly after the accident occurred, Chadron PD recovered a remote control that Walz says appears to be for an electric skateboard. Lieutenant Walz says if you are the owner of this remote, you can come claim it at the Chadron Police Headquarters on Main Street in Chadron.
