American and state flags across the country are flying at half-staff from today through sunset Thursday to honor the victims of the deadly terrorism attacks in Israel by Hamas.
Over 900 people are confirmed as dead in Israel, 9 of them Americans, with hundreds more, missing or kidnapped, including an undetermined number of U-S citizens. Retaliatory air raids on Israel have killed some 700 Palestinians.
President Biden issued the proclamation for the American flags and each of the nation’s governors have followed suit.
