     Retired U-S. Senator Mike Enzi, of Wyoming remains hospitalized with injuries suffered in a bicycle accident Friday night. Â
The 77-year-old is a Republican who retired in January after four terms as senator.
Son Brad Enzi said on Twitter his father was stabilized at a hospital in Gillette, then transferred to a hospital in Colorado.
      The hospital was the UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland and a family friend reported the former senator had been sedated Saturday night.     Â
 The Enzi family released a statement Monday that said the extent of injuries and how the accident happened are still unknown.Â
It also saud hospital staff continue to evaluate his condition.
