Gabriel Anthony Rowland was born on May 29, 1979 in Pine Ridge, SD to Gary Rowland Sr and Eldena Mae Red Eyes. Gabriel made his journey to the Spirit World on Feb 11, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Gabriel is survived by his daughter Gabrielle Rowland; brothers Tatanka Rowland and Gary Rowland Jr; sisters Jolene Rowland, Gaylene Rowland, Sherry Rowland, April Rowland, Anna Mae Rowland, and Danielle Rowland; aunts Dorothy Rowland, Bernadine Rowland-LaDeaux, and Danelle Fast Wolf; uncles Reggie Rowland, Darrell Rowland, Tom Rowland, Gerald Ice, and Cecil Red Eyes Sr; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his parents Gary Rowland Sr and Eldena Mae Red Eyes-Ice; brother Rueben Rowland; uncle Dave Rowland; cousin Greg Rowland; and nephew Bradley Chief.
Pallbearers will be Arlin Rowland, Jeremy Chase, Julian Brown Eyes, Garfield Steele Sr, Lance Leftwich, Clarence Rowland, Gary Rowland Jr, Brandon McBride, Franklin Poor Bear Jr, JC Kill Spotted, and Vincent Bert Ice.
