Gaylene Marie Bordeaux was born on August 17, 1966 in Pine Ridge, SD to Antoine Robert Bordeaux, Sr. and Bernadette Fern (Goings) Bordeaux.
Gaylene made her journey to the Spirit World on August 14, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Gaylene is survived by her children, Justin Bordeaux, Marcus Bordeaux, Tasha Bordeaux, and Shane Bordeaux; siblings, Carlene Bordeaux, Sally Goings, and Sylvester Bordeaux; and the father of her children, Raymond Grey Owl.
Gaylene was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine “Buzzy” Bordeaux, Sr. and Bernadette “Wuggs” (Goings) Bordeaux; husband, Ray Flying Hawk; siblings, Tony Bordeaux, Wayne Bordeaux, Carl Bordeaux, Rochelle Bordeaux, and Mona Goings; and grandparents, Rebecca Cuny-Goings, Roland “Scope” Goings, and Clarence and Louise Bordeaux.
Pallbearers are Marcus Bordeaux, Daryl Goings, Sr., Daryl Goings, Jr., Lyndon Brown, Gage Bordeaux, and Bill McLaughlin.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends and Relatives.
Funeral Service for Gaylene Marie Bordeaux will be at 11 on Wednesday August 21 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one night wake service starts at 12 on Tuesday August 20, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be at a later date.
