Grace Ardyth (Clifford) Matsamas was born on October 18, 1971 in Pine Ridge, SD to Charles Clifford and Diane Hollow Horn. Grace made her journey to the Spirit World on January 27, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Grace is survived by her spouse Marlin Turning Hawk; daughters Dianna Watkins and Annabelle Watkins; sons James Watkins and Brandon Watkins; grandchildren Azula Watkins, Aido Watkins, Mavis Watkins, Sianna Watkins, Presley Watkins, and Himawari Watkins; sisters Stephanie Running Hawk, Lynelle Running Hawk, and Ramona Clifford; aunts Charlotte Black Elk, Alice Sierra, and Josephine Richards; and uncles Thomas Harvey, Donald American Horse, Eugene American Horse Jr, and George American Horse.Â
Grace was preceded in death by her parents Charles Clifford and Diane Hollow Horn; her children’s father Robert Watkins; aunts Annabelle Hollow Horn, Emmaline Black Elk, and Mikiyela Black Elk; nephew Riley Thunder Horse; and grandparents Pearl Hollow Horn, Agnes Hollow Horn, Irene Hollow Horn-Harvey, Lawrence Hollow Horn, and Raymond Hollow Horn.
Pallbearers will be Charles Black Crow, Michael Brown, Taylor Bald Eagle, Daryl Goings, Frank Hollow Horn, Chad White Face, Donald American Horse and Richard Terry.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
