Funeral services for 52-year old Gwendolyn Hollow Horn-Whirlwind Horse are Monday, May 6, 2024 at noon at the Gordon City Auditorium in Gordon, NE, with traditional Lakota services by Mike Little Boy Sr and Mike Little Boy Jr.
Cremation will follow the services with burial at a later date.
Visitation precedes and follows the services from 11:00 – 2:00 at the Gordon City Auditorium.

Gwendolyn Kaye Hollow Horn-Whirlwind Horse “Wanahca To Winyan” was born on Feb 20, 1972 in Pine Ridge, SD to Glen Dale Hollow Horn and Bernice Julia Sun Bear-Simeon. Gwendolyn made her journey to the Spirit World on April 24, 2024 at the Pine Ridge IHS Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Gwendolyn is survived by her mother Bernice Simeon; spouse Ryan Whirlwind Horse; sons George Boyd III and Eric Lone Hill; brothers Ronnie Sun Bear, Dale Hollow Horn, Maurice Hollow Horn, and Ricky Simeon.
Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her father Glen Hollow Horn; brother Glen Hollow Horn Jr; and sisters Anna Hollow Horn and Cynthia Hollow Horn.
Pallbearers will be Louis Sanchez, Reno Whirlwind Horse, Ramian Harp, Tommy Hollow Horn, Franklin Poor Bear Jr, Erlund Black Elk, Jonathan Yellow Horse, Michael Yellow Horse, Paul Hollow Horn and Terrance Hollow Horn.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
