Memorial Services for 47-year old Gwendolyn Reddest are Monday, Oct 17, 2022 at 3:00 at St Henry’s Catholic Church Hall in Potato Creek, SD, with Lay Minister Anthony Wounded Head officiating.

Burial is at St Timothy’s Cemetery in Potato Creek.

A one-night wake service starts Sunday, Oct 16, at 3:00 at St Henry’s Catholic Church Hall in Potato Creek

Gwendolyn Mae Reddest was born on April 14, 1975 in Pine Ridge, SD to Duane Bryan Reddest and Nancy Lee (White Crane) Reddest.  Gwendolyn made her journey to the Spirit World on October 10, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Gwendolyn is survived by her mother Nancy Reddest; grandmother Josephine White Crane; son Jalen Reddest; daughter Keeley Reddest; sister Duanna Reddest; brothers Joseph Reddest and Rudy (Melinda) Reddest; adopted sisters Doreen Milk and Antoinette Wounded Head; adopted brothers Aloysius Wounded Head and Jimmy Little Bull; her beloved nieces Kaylee Jo Reddest, Adena Two Eagle, Roseanne & Ella Jo Reddest, and Issabelle Inez; nephews Cleveland Reddest, Duane Reddest, Aloysious Reddest, Emmett Clifford, and Henry Clifford, Jr.; and grandchildren, Jesse & Kayden Big Crow, and Alonnia and Aceston Swallow.

Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her father Duane Reddest; grandparents Eugene & Ella Reddest; grandfather Aloysious White Crane Walking; aunties Arlene White Crane, Diane Reddest, Gwyneth Bullman, Flora Means, Wilma Red Nest, and Gertie Yankton; and uncles Orville, Leroy, Cleveland, and Windell Reddest, and Robert “Bobbie” Means.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Wounded Head Jr, Marlon White Feather, Waylon Means, Cornell Reddest, Ivan Reddest, Virgil Randall, Tilden Reddest, and Brent Plenty Bull.
