Harley Lee (Bettelyoun) Morsett Sr was born on May 29, 1947 in Pine Ridge, SD to Ross Bettelyoun Sr and Joyce (Alden) Morsett. Harley Sr made his journey to the Spirit World on August 22, 2022 in Phoenix, AZ. He was a veteran of the U-S Army.
Harley grew up in Kadoka, SD. He loved his family so much. He had many stories of hunting and fishing with his brothers. He also loved mining, drawing, and reading. He had a wealth of knowledge. Harley will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Harley is survived by his life partner Isabel Creach; children Denise Bettelyoun, Katie Kammersall-Morsett, Freeland Creach and Jenny O’Connor-Lobato; brothers Ross Bettelyoun Jr, Ed Bettelyoun, Clifford Bettelyoun, Lawrence Bettelyoun, Albert Bettelyoun, Edward, and James Morsett; sister, Tina Standing Soldier, Lois Bettelyoun, Brenda Yankton, and Jodi Morsett; and grandchildren Kris, Oceana, Sofia, Madi, Andres, Mason, and Brooklyn.
Harley was preceded in death by his parents Ross Bettelyoun Sr, and Joyce (Alden) Morsett; brothers Alvin, and George Bettelyoun; and sister Shezell Morsett.
Pallbearers will be Freeland Creach and Jenny O’Connor-Lobato.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
