Funeral services for 43-year old Harold Tobacco Sr are Wed, Feb 15, 2023 at 2:00 at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD, with Sister Barb Bogenschutz officiating and traditional Lakota services by Bear Cross.
Burial is at the Tobacco Family Cemetery in Calico – Pine Ridge, SD.
A two-night wake service starts Monday, Feb 13, at 1:00 at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala.
Harold Sr’s services will be shared with those for his son Harold Tobacco Jr.

Harold William Tobacco Sr was born on June 24, 1979, in Pine Ridge, SD, to Leonard Black Feather and Regina Tobacco. Harold Sr made his journey to the Spirit World on Jan 30, 2023 at his home near Pine Ridge.
Harold Sr is survived by his daughters Vanessa Eagle Hawk-Black Elk, Amariah Youngman, Chevayah Youngman, Talianna Youngman and Aubrey Conquering Bear-Tobacco; son Harold Youngman-Tobacco; mother Regina Tobacco; siblings Heather Poor Bear, Shelly Goings, Nona Warrior, Dale “DJ” Warrior, and Chad Tobacco; and grandchildren Nisa Cree Eagle Hawk Gregory Eagle Hawk, and Leigha Black Elk.
Harold Sr was preceded in death by his father Leonard Black Feather; daughter Leigha Ann Marie Eagle Hawk-Tobacco; son Harold Tobacco Jr; sisters Lisa Marie Tobacco and Cora Lee Warrior; and brothers Dale Francis Catches Jr, Joseph Lee Catches, Wayland Gene Tobacco, and Jesse Dean Warrior.
Pallbearers will be AJ “Jr” Waters, Dale Warrior Jr, Sammy D Nelson, Austin Warrior, Sonny Cross Dog, Andrew Waters, Jesse Whalen, Oscar Saucedo, Jeff Hard Heart, Nolan Warrior, Daniel White Eyes, Mike Warrior and Aaron Dreamer.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
