Sioux County will host its annual Harrison Holiday Tournament to kick-off the 2025 portion of the basketball season.
Slated for Jan. 3-4, the tournament will feature girls’ and boys’ action. On the girls’ side of the brackets, Lusk, Morrill and Crawford will play a round-robin style tournament, as Sioux County does not have a girls’ team this year. Lusk will face both Crawford and Morrill on Jan. 3. Tip-off with Crawford will be at noon that day to open the tournament. Lusk will then face Morrill at 3 p.m. Crawford and Morrill will play Jan. 4 at noon.
The Lusk squad enters the tournament with an undefeated 4-0 record. The Morrill Lions are 4-1 so far, and Crawford sits at 3-2.
On the boys’ side of the bracket, Lusk and Crawford will open the action Jan. 3 at 1:30 p.m. Sioux County will take on Morrill at 4:30 p.m. The winners of the two games will advance to the championship bracket to be placed Jan. 4 at 3 p.m., while the losers will play for third place Jan. 4 at 1:30 p.m.
The Lusk boys are also undefeated with a 3-0 start, and Morrill and Crawford have each posted 3-2 records thus far. Sioux County is 1-2 on the year.
