Injuries spoiled a dominating first quarter performance as Hay Springs lost to Potter-Dix at home on Thursday night 46-22.
A pair of Gage Mintken rushing touchdowns put the Hawks up 16-4 after the first quarter, but the Coyotes would rattle off the next five scores to build a 38-16 lead by early 3rd quarter.
A Dylan Raymer interception led to another Hay Springs touchdown late in the 3rd before Potter-Dix closed the door with one more score in the 4th.
Raymer earned both our Service Barber Shop player of the game and garnered the Dunbar’s U Design play of the game with his interception that led to Hay Springs’ only 2nd half score.
