The Gordon-Rushville girls are the #7 in the C2 district finals and will play #10 Clarkson/Leigh with a spot at the state tournament on the line.
The Mustangs took down Bayard in the C2-12 sub-district championship on Thursday to clinch the automatic berth to the finals. The Patriots are one of four wildcards after being upset in their sub-district final.
Hay Springs is the 10th seed in D2 after downing Mullen in the D2-12 sub-district final on Thursday. The Hawks will play #7 Wilcox-Hildreth, looking for their first state tournament qualification since 2012. Wilcox-Hildreth was also a wildcard after losing as the top seed in the D2-7 sub.
The D2-7 final is set for Friday at Ogallala with a 5:00 pm tip off.
Elsewhere, unbeaten Bridgeport is the 2nd seed in C1 and squares off with #15 Douglas County West at Kearney High School on Friday at 6:00 pm.
All of the district final winners will advance to the state tournament in Lincoln.
