Hay Springs is making the 405 miles to the capital city today for the D6 semifinals against defending state champion Parkview Christian. It’s only the 2nd semifinal appearance for Hay Springs in school history.
The Hawks upset Arthur County in last weeks quarterfinals while the Patriots shutout Potter-Dix.
Hay Springs has rattled off seven straight wins since losing their first three of the season while Parkview Christian has won five straight since a 3-2 start to the year.
Today will also mark the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Sidney is the only other Panhandle team still alive in the playoffs as they battle Wahoo in the C1 semifinals. It’s the first semifinal trip for the Red Raiders since 1993.
