Visitation services for 35-year old Heather Plaisted of Custer, SD, are Thursday, Sept 21, 2023 from 9:30 – 4:30 at the Pine Room in Custer, SD, with Minister Van Arp officiating.

Heather RaShell Plaisted entered this world on Sept 21, 1987 at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Box Elder, SD to Amy M. Clarke and Charles Plaisted. She made her journey to join our ancestors and our Creator after a courageous fight against her addictions which ultimately took her from her family far too quickly and soon.
Heather was her mother’s only child and one of 3 for her father. She graduated from Custer High School and Western Dakota Tech, then worked at the VA Hospital for a while.
Heather was loved by many and lived a life of happiness and pain. She is in pain no more, but is with the Creator, relatives, and family that have gone before her.
Heather is healing now, so let us not cry or mourn too much because that will stop her from doing what she has to do to heal her soul.
Heather is survived by mother Amy (Tony Collins) Clarke; father Charles (Samantha Knauss) Plaisted Sr; children Harmony Sky, Hailee Rain, Hope Starr Plaisted, and Aaliyah Cox; brother Charles Plaisted Jr, sister Jen Cogswell; paternal grandparents Bob & Bea Plaisted; maternal grandfather Jim Glade; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Mona Glade; maternal great-grandmother Ramona Bettelyoun; uncle Robert Plaisted; great-aunts Walean Herman and Paula Morris; and cousins Tony Garnett, Little Leo and Jake Herman.
Pallbearers will be Cole Glade, Charles Plaisted Jr, Shannon Meehan, Trej Cox, Joey Harris-Phillips, Tony Collins, and Connor Meehan.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
